“Saya menekankan kepada seluruh anggota Polresta Bengkulu agar selama pesta demokrasi ini tidak ada yang bermain politik praktis. Saya tekankan sekali lagi tidak ada yang bermain politik praktis. Saya harapkan netralitas selurung anggota Polresta Bengkulu serta profesional terhadap institusi Polri,” ungkap Kapolresta dalam arahannya.
Kapolresta mengharapkan kepada seluruh personil Polresta Bengkulu agar mempersiapkan diri dalam Operasi Mantap Brata, sehingga ketika pelaksanaan Operasi Mantap Brata pengamanan Pemilu benar-benar siap.
“Seminggu kedepan kita akan menghadapi tahapan kampanye, saya harap kepada seluruh personil Polresta Bengkulu baik yang terlibat Operasi Mantap Brata maupun yang tidak terlibat agar mempersiapkan diri sebaik mungkin, sehingga pada saat pelaksanaan nanti, kita benar-benar siap,” jelas Kapolresta.
Selain itu, Kapolresta Bengkulu juga mengimbau masyarakat agar menolak politik uang, hindari hoaks dan hatespeech, hindari black campaign dan negatif campaign, tidak mengadu domba dan memecah belah, jangan mengintimidasi dan memaksakan kehendak.
“Tahapan Pemilu sudah mulai berjalan, kami imbau masyarakat agar mari bersama-sama menjaga stabilitas keamanan, hindari penyebaran berita hoaks terkait isu sara maupun politik, jangan saling adu domba. Berbeda pilihan hendaknya disikapi dengan bijak, siapa pun calonnya, apa pun partainya, kita tetap harus menjaga situasi Kamtibmas yang kondusif. Mari sama-sama ciptakan Pemilu 2024 aman, sejuk dan damai,” ajak Kapolresta.
