Pelantikan Pengurus Daerah IWO Bengkulu, Gubernur Rohidin: Jadilah Wartawan Profesional

Bengkulu, JejakKeadilan.Com – Gubernur Bengkulu Rohidin Mersyah menghadiri pelantikan pengurus daerah Ikatan Wartawan Online (IWO) Bengkulu Masa Bhkati 2023-2028 bertempat di Balai Raya Semarak, Sènin (20/11).

Pelantikan Pengurus Daerah IWO Bengkuĺu tersebut dipimpin langsung Ketua Umum IWO Dwi Christianto.

Dikatakan Gubernur Rohidin, adanya pengurus baru ini nantinya dapat terus melahirkan wartawan yang profesional, yang baik, serta mempunyai kompetensi yang handal.

Tujuanya, lanjut Rohidin, agar pemberitaan yang dilakukan oleh wartawan online sesuai fakta dan kejadian yang sebenarnya dan tidak memberitakan isu yang hoax.

“Karena kenapa cepat beritanya muda kita dapatkan (online). Maka pesan saya yang pertama jadilah wartawan yang profesionàl yang baik yang memang profesional punya kemampuan dan kompetensi yang handal,” harap gubernur.

Di sisi lain, Ketua Umum IWO Dwi Cristianto menambahkan, saat ini IWO terus melakukan pengembangan di organisasi profesi ini. Salah satunya yaitu mengembangkan profesionalisme teman-temàn IWO.

“Di IWO karena kami organisasi profesi, terus mengembangkan profesionalisme teman-teman IWO,” tutup Dwi. [Tedy & Saipul]
